CAQM's account of the Supreme Court's 17 December 2025 order says protection against coercive action continues for BS-IV and later vehicles, while restrictions on action against BS-III and lower vehicles were lifted. This enforcement distinction does not automatically renew an expired or cancelled registration.
Check permission to drive today
Confirm RC validity and emission category with the transport authority. Then check current pollution-control measures for your vehicle class and route. GRAP restrictions can add another condition. A valid pollution certificate alone does not answer every registration or entry question.
